Profile Bertin Radifera
RDG is owned by Bertin Radifera, a native Washingtonian with more than 20 years of experience designing both residential and commercial spaces. Bertin’s greatest pleasure is in helping clients bring their needs, lifestyle, and taste together into the space of their dreams, and in 2003 he opened RDG to bring that service to clients on a personal level.
In designing for his clients, Bertin favors a highly collaborative approach in which their vision, input and feedback are brought into sharp focus through careful work and attentive communication. This process, combined with the expert contributions of any contractors brought on to support the project, results in a striking interior that is both beautiful and functional. When working with Bertin, clients can be assured of a few basic things: their vision will be honored; their questions will be answered; and, most importantly, their home will look amazing.
After earning a degree in Architecture and Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1986, Bertin went on to work at three firms before opening RDG. He also works as a Senior Designer for Aidan Design (a kitchen and fine cabinetry design group) in Bethesda, Md.; prior to that, he was a Principal at SKB Architecture and Design, and Project Architect for Kerns Group Architects.
When he’s not designing, Bertin enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters usually in some sort of music, culinary or outdoor activity. His family is his pride and joy, as well as an important source of inspiration for him.
